Job Context

• DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED) is a national-level NGO operating under Dhaka Ahsania Mission and implementing microcredit and investment programs across Bangladesh under MRA and PKSF support.
• The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing branch-level microfinance operations, ensuring financial discipline, supervising field staff, and maintaining strong operational control over investment activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement annual branch plans with zonal and area managers
• Supervise branch operations and field staff activities
• Verify and approve investment proposals accurately
• Handle branch-level problem-solving and risk management
• Conduct weekly and monthly staff meetings
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports via software
• Maintain relationships with beneficiaries, NGOs, and local authorities
• Achieve collection targets and reduce overdue installments
• Ensure proper record keeping and confidentiality
• Prepare monthly budgets and operational plans
• Conduct field visits and performance monitoring
• Ensure gender-sensitive and ethical work practices
• Report progress to higher authorities regularly
