Job Context

• This position is a senior leadership role in the Accounts & Finance department of a woven garments manufacturing group. The Head of Accounts & Finance will be responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the factory, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, compliance, and strategic financial planning aligned with production and business goals.
• The role requires strong experience in the garments/textile sector, with deep understanding of costing, production finance, banking, and regulatory compliance in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall Accounts & Finance department operations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
• Develop and monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasting
• Ensure VAT, tax, and all regulatory compliance with government authorities
• Manage LC, import/export finance, bank loans, OD facilities, and banking relationships
• Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and treasury functions
• Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and documentation systems
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations
• Supervise and guide the finance and accounts team for efficiency and accuracy
• Work closely with factory operations to align production cost, efficiency, and profitability
• Analyze garment production costing, order profitability, and financial impact of operations
• Ensure proper financial reporting for management decision-making
• Drive process improvement and automation in accounting systems
