Job Description
  • This position is a mid-level supply chain and distribution management role within a manufacturing and FMCG-related industry. The Senior Executive – Distribution will be responsible for ensuring efficient nationwide product distribution, managing logistics operations, coordinating with distributors and dealers, and optimizing supply chain performance for battery products across Bangladesh. The role focuses on timely delivery, cost control, and maintaining strong channel partner relationships.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Ensure timely and accurate nationwide distribution of battery products
  • Develop and implement distribution plans and delivery schedules
  • Monitor daily dispatch, shipment, and delivery performance
  • Optimize transportation routes to reduce cost and delivery time
  • Coordinate with production team for stock replenishment planning
  • Manage inventory allocation across regions and distributors
  • Work closely with sales, logistics, accounts, and service teams
  • Maintain strong communication with distributors, dealers, and transport partners
  • Monitor distributor performance and ensure service quality standards
  • Handle product return, replacement, and service coordination processes
  • Collect and analyze dealer feedback to improve distribution efficiency
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly distribution performance reports
  • Maintain accurate delivery, stock, and invoice records
  • Ensure proper data entry and tracking in ERP/SAP systems
  • Monitor distribution costs and implement cost-saving strategies
  • Reduce delivery delays, damages, and stock mismatches
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, and operational policies
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and reporting systems
  • Support expansion of distribution network across Bangladesh
  • Coordinate with transport vendors and third-party logistics providers
