Job Description
  • This is a senior strategic HR leadership role in a healthcare organization. The DGM (HR) will be responsible for designing and executing hospital-wide HR strategy, managing workforce planning, ensuring labor law compliance, and leading performance management systems. The role also focuses on organizational development, employee engagement, and ensuring smooth HR operations across clinical and non-clinical departments.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Develop and implement long-term HR strategies aligned with hospital goals
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for doctors, nurses, and administrative staff
  • Design and monitor KPI-based performance appraisal systems
  • Oversee workforce planning, rostering, and manpower optimization
  • Ensure strict compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law and hospital regulations
  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions
  • Lead training, development, and continuous professional development (CPD) programs
  • Drive employee engagement and organizational culture improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and present HR reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for senior management
  • Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management systems
  • Implement HR policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks across departments
  • Support Total Quality Management (TQM) and performance improvement initiatives
  • Act as key advisor to top management on HR and organizational issues
  • Ensure smooth coordination between HR, clinical, and administrative departments
