Job Description
  • Pedrollo NK Ltd. is seeking a highly competent, proactive, and experienced legal professional to join its team as Deputy Manager – Legal Affairs. The selected candidate will play a critical role in protecting the company’s legal and corporate interests by overseeing legal affairs, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, managing litigation, and providing strategic legal support to management.
  • This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional with strong expertise in corporate law, contract management, governance, compliance, and dispute resolution within a reputed corporate organization or legal practice.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Provide expert legal advice and strategic counsel to management on corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
  • Draft, vet, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including: Agreements, Contracts
  • Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)
  • Vendor / Supplier Agreements
  • Employment and Service Agreements
  • Lease and Property-related Documents
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards in Bangladesh.
  • Manage and monitor litigation, arbitration, legal notices, and court-related matters on behalf of the company.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities, government agencies, and law enforcement bodies.
  • Identify legal risks and recommend effective risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s interests.
  • Support company secretarial and board governance matters, including board resolutions, statutory filings, and legal documentation.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations and advise management on their implications.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for corporate transactions, investments, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all legal files, agreements, notices, and case proceedings.
