Job Description

Scholar Hub, Satkhira is seeking a skilled and dedicated IELTS Trainer to guide students in achieving their desired band scores in IELTS (Academic and General Training). The role involves delivering structured lessons in all four modules—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—while focusing on improving students’ English language proficiency and test-taking strategies.

The trainer will be responsible for conducting classroom and/or online sessions, preparing lesson plans, assessing students’ progress through regular tests and assignments, and providing personalized feedback to help learners improve their performance. The position also requires maintaining an engaging learning environment that motivates students and builds their confidence in using English effectively.

The ideal candidate should have strong command over English, proven experience in IELTS teaching or English language training, and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and effective manner.

Responsibilities & Context

Conduct regular IELTS classes covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules

Prepare structured lesson plans and teaching materials based on IELTS syllabus and exam pattern

Assess students’ English proficiency and track their progress through tests, quizzes, and assignments

Provide detailed feedback on Writing and Speaking tasks to help students improve their band score

Train students on time management, exam techniques, and effective answering strategies

Conduct mock tests and evaluate performance according to IELTS scoring criteria

Identify individual student weaknesses and provide targeted support or extra guidance

Maintain classroom discipline and create an interactive, engaging learning environment

Update students on IELTS exam trends, question patterns, and preparation strategies

Communicate with students or guardians (if required) regarding progress and improvement plans
